Having a good man in your corner.

Updated: Sep 12, 2020

Sometimes... I can LEGIT go off the deep end. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, bills, business accounting, social posts, website maintenance, continuing education and clients all while trying to squeeze in dates, family barbecues and movies or board games with our teen on the spectrum.

God must have known I needed a man who was grounded enough to go with the flow of all of this craziness. One who knows when to speak and say he thinks I need to slow down or, “We’ve hit burnout and now your body needs some attention” when I didn’t heed the preventive advice. (LEGIT... he said that tonight). He does that while working 13 hour days for a week at a time in a different state. Then he says yes to our soon to be Yorkie puppy, yes to an accidental farmers market find and yes to a store run because kombucha sounds good.

Even though I get mad, even though we argue and even though I’m one hell of a fiery Alpha girl sometimes... he still does it. Happy birthday to my best friend of a hubby. I love you!
